Born in Los Angeles and raised in Miami, Jacquelyn grew up immersed in the rich, multicultural pulse of South Florida — a place where rhythm, storytelling, and emotion effortlessly collide. That early exposure shaped her musical instincts and inspired her to begin writing songs at a young age, blending melody and meaning with an unmistakable sense of heart and sophistication.
Drawing inspiration from iconic songwriters and vocalists such as Carole King, Adele, Sara Bareilles, Stevie Nicks, Elton John and contemporary pop and country influences including Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, Olivia Rodrigo and Ed Sheeran, Jacquelyn’s music lives at the intersection of soulful introspection and irresistible melody. Her songs are emotionally honest, deeply melodic, and rooted in the kind of storytelling that lingers long after the last note fades.
While developing her sound in Miami, Jacquelyn’s gift for crafting clever, catchy, and emotionally resonant songs caught the attention of Grammy and Billboard Award–winning songwriter and producer Rudy Perez, sparking a long-standing creative collaboration. As her journey expanded to Los Angeles and the West Coast music scene, she continued to refine her artistry alongside legendary writers and producers, including Paul Fox (Natalie Merchant, 10,000 Maniacs) and two-time Grammy-nominated Joel Diamond (Gloria Gaynor, Laura Branigan, Sister Sledge).
These collaborations led to the recording and release of multiple albums and a series of critically acclaimed live performances in both Los Angeles and Miami, earning Jacquelyn high praise from industry executives, producers, and fellow songwriters alike. Her performances are known for their emotional intimacy, vocal precision, and effortless connection with audiences — qualities that have become hallmarks of her artistry.
After a brief hiatus from recording and performing, Jacquelyn returned to songwriting with renewed depth and clarity. At the encouragement of Rudy Perez, she began collaborating with Grammy Award–winning songwriter and producer Marlow Rosado, ushering in a new creative chapter. Their work together has resulted in Jacquelyn’s most recent body of recordings — a sophisticated, sultry, jazz-tinged pop sound that reflects both her artistic maturity and her fearless emotional honesty.
Rooted in timeless influences yet unmistakably modern, Jacquelyn’s music continues to evolve — revealing an artist who writes not just to be heard, but to be felt. Her songs invite listeners into moments of vulnerability, strength, desire, and reflection, offering a soundtrack for those who believe that great music is both beautifully crafted and deeply human.

NEW! “In ‘One More Time,’ I express the deep bond I shared with my beloved brother, who bravely faced cancer until 2019. He was not just my sibling but my best friend, a constant source of strength, laughter, and love in my life. This song serves as a heartfelt tribute to his spirit and the cherished memories we created together. Though he is no longer physically present, his influence continues to inspire my music and my journey. I hope this piece resonates with anyone who has experienced the profound loss of a loved one, offering comfort and a reminder that love transcends time.” — Jacquelyn
